Todd Chatman is a media and fundraising strategist with a deep heart for nonprofit work and a knack for making stories resonate. With more than two decades in faith-based media and philanthropy, Todd helps mission-focused organizations break through the noise and connect with donors in meaningful ways.
As a Principal at mission:activate, Todd leads with strategy, empathy, and a track record of results—having helped raise over $70 million for causes he believes in. From on-air radio campaigns to multichannel donor strategies, he equips nonprofits with the tools and messaging they need to grow sustainably.
Todd’s background includes leadership roles at Salem Media Group, CBS Radio, Food For The Poor, and Dunham+Company, where he spearheaded fundraising strategies for major nonprofits like Compassion International, Buckner International, and others. Whether he’s behind a mic or behind a strategy deck, he brings clarity, confidence, and contagious energy.

Kristen Myers-Chatman is a dynamic strategist and relationship-builder who helps mission-driven teams grow with clarity and purpose. With a unique blend of corporate and nonprofit experience, she brings fresh energy and strategic insight to every engagement. Her superpower? Turning complexity into momentum.
As a Principal at mission:activate, Kristen partners with organizations to clarify their message, deepen donor relationships, and align teams around what matters most. With past leadership roles at L’Oréal USA, Robert Half International, and Loving Shepherd Ministries, she blends high-level marketing strategy with hands-on experience in development and team coaching. Kristen has led national campaigns, elevated donor retention, and built high-performing teams.
She was honored as the 2018 Communicator of the Year by the West Michigan Public Relations Society and has served on several boards, including Corewell Health Patient Advisory Council, DonorPerfect, AdFed and AMA West Michigan.
